Client Dave Darlington meets Steve Davis

Over 250 people attended our annual Lady Verdin Trust Fun Day on Sunday 26th July at Legends (Bentley Motors) on Sunnybank Road in Crewe.

We hosted a fun-packed event enjoyed by record-numbers of clients, staff, friends and family as well as local supporters of the Trust.

Attendees included Crewe Alexandra Assistant Manager, Steve Davis, who came along with the club mascot Gresty the Lion and supported the event by signing programmes as well as donating tickets, footballs and shirts as raffle prizes.

Event organiser and Director of Human Resources at The Lady Verdin Trust, Ashley Owen, said: "The Fun Day is a great opportunity for all our clients, staff and their family and friends to come together and enjoy a great day out – a huge thank you to everyone that helped make the day such a success."

Running from 1.30pm until 11.00pm, highlights included a dog display demonstration by Delamere Dog Display Team, a Race Night event where participants could 'bet' on real horse racing events using Monopoly-style money and Dave Craig of Tap Bang Wallop held djembe drum lessons. Plus a whole array of other activities including pottery and willow weaving, traditional stalls, a bouncy castle and an evening disco took place.
