Annual Awards 2010
The event, held at Nantwich Civic Hall on Thursday 4 November, was attended by over 250 guests who enjoyed a dance and buffet alongside the awards ceremony.
Chris Chennell, Chief Executive of the Trust and host for the evening, said: "The event was a celebration of the past 12 months and a way to recognise the commitment and dedication of everyone who works for the Trust.
"The evening applauded those colleagues who have completed National Vocational Qualifications, our Support Assistant General Award, plus we announced the winners of our Star Colleague Awards."
The Star Colleague Awards, introduced last year, were presented by Trust Chairman, Anthony Lee. Support Assistant, Charlotte Henderson won New Starter of the Year and Support Manager, Angela Moses received Team Member of the Year.
MP for Crewe and Nantwich, Edward Timpson, attended the evening's ceremony and presented the NVQ Awards to staff; whilst Chief Executive of South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, John Dunning, presented the Support Assistant General Awards.
Community Support Manager, Kerry Challoner, also received an award in recognition for her ten years' service at the Trust.
Chris added: "I would like to thank everyone involved in making the evening a success. With our dedicated and committed staff the Trust has been able to grow and develop for the future.
"We will soon be launching a new service aimed at people with dementia and Alzheimer's and their family carers. Plus, we have just started working with Wulvern Housing on a project for their new Pickmere Court development in Crewe. 2011 will certainly be an exciting year for the Trust."
